1. Introductory Statement

These Terms and Conditions closely specify and define the rights and obligations of Buyers and the Seller. The Seller J2B Community, Ltd. Company Registration Number 04914881, residing in Husinecká 903/10, 130 00 Prague 3, Czech Republic, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague under file number C 255615, VAT CZ04914881.

Legal relationships of the Seller with the Buyer, not governed by these General Terms and Conditions, shall be governed in particular by the relevant provisions mainly by the Act no. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, as amended, and Act. No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended (Czech Law). 

These Terms and Conditions specify the purchase contract with the subject of sale of online courses, live seminars, workshops, webinars, e-books and individual services, which parties conclude via website www.linkedacademy.eu (further just subject of purchase).

The subject of purchase is an intellectual property product, therefore any dissemination or provision to third parties without the consent of the author is forbidden without the author’s consent. By concluding the purchase contract, the Buyer accepts that any use of information from the subject of the purchase and the successes or failures resulting therefrom are in the hands of the Buyer and the author bears no responsibility for them. In the subject of purchase, the Buyer may find information about third party products or services. This information is just a recommendation and expressing an opinion on the given subject.

 

2. The subject of Contract and Contract Performance

2.1 Subject and Contract Performance

The subject of the contract is the purchase and sale of online courses, live courses, webinars, e-books and individual services. Their specifications and individual variations, including their content, are listed on the website www.linkedacademy.eu.

The start dates of online programmes and courses, dates of the individual workshops – including live seminars or accessing videos will be published in advance on the website of the project LinkedAcademy. Also, all information regarding the order is provided by the seller at www.linkedacademy.eu. The Buyer can find out any further information by e-mailing to info@linkedacademy.eu.

In the case of online courses, the Buyer will receive login details for the member section after making the purchase and once the payment is cleared via the stated e-mail address at the latest on the day when the course starts. In the event the Buyer does not receive such login details despite their payment, the Buyer needs to inform the Seller to e-mail address info@linkedacademy.eu.

In case of workshops, seminars and individual services, the Buyer will receive information about the place and time of the specific event, eventually, information on the manner and date of performance of the individual service after the purchase once the payment is cleared.

2.2 Order

The Buyer declares that he/she has read all the information regarding the order at the project's website www.linkedacademy.eu. The Buyer orders the subject of the purchase by completing the electronic order form via the website www.linkedacademy.eu. The Buyer is obliged to check and/or eventually correct the order before sending it. The sent order is legally binding and the Buyer and the Seller incur mutual rights and obligations, ie. the Seller undertakes to provide the Buyer with the object of purchase and the Buyer undertakes to pay the purchase price.

By placing the order, the Buyer confirms that he/she has acquainted himself/herself with the terms and conditions of purchase on the website www.linkedacademy.eu/terms-and-conditions and that he/she agrees with them. These Terms and Conditions, which are also published on the Seller's website, form an integral part of the Purchase Agreement, which is concluded by filling in and placing the order. Based on the sent order, the Buyer will receive an advance invoice to the e-mail specified in the order form. It contains all payment details necessary for making the purchase including the invoice due date. If the advance invoice is not paid after the due date, the Buyer will receive a reminder and a payment request in his / her inbox. If the invoice is still not paid within 5 days, the order will be cancelled. All inquiries about orders and payments can be obtained at the e-mail address info@linkedacademy.eu.

 

3. Price, Invoice

The Buyer finds all information regarding the service price in the application summary and on the website www.linkedacademy.eu. Regarding the payments made on the basis of a purchase contract, the Seller issues a tax document-invoice to the Buyer that serves as proof of purchase. This invoice will be sent to the Buyer’s e-mail address stated in the order. The Seller is a VAT payer. VAT number CZ04914881

 

4.  Form And Payment Method, Bonuses

Payment can be made by bank transfer to the bank account specified in the invoice or by debit or credit card.

4.1  Payment Options 

          a) On-line by debit or credit card: VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro.

          b) By fast bank transfer: Raiffeisenbank, GE Money Bank, Fio banka, Komerční banka, ČSOB, mBank.

These payment methods are performed via payment getaway run by GOPAY s.r.o. the company, which provides secured technology for accepting debit and credit card payments and online bank transfers. You enter debit/credit card numbers, credit cards and internet banking passwords using GOPAY s.r.o's secure and trusted channel.

         c) By bank transfer. When paying by bank transfer the buyer is obliged to state the variable symbol stated in the call for payment, otherwise, it is not possible to identify the received payment.

4.2 Form of Payment

The Buyer has the option of making a one-off payment or instalment payment for selected products and services.

a) The one-off payment means that the full amount is paid immediately after the order form is placed.

b) The instalment option is always indicated for the selected products in the order form of the product or service, including the number and amount of the instalments.

 4.3 Bonuses

All bonuses to which the buyer is entitled to will be sent/released at the end of the training and only on the condition that the order is properly paid and the client has not requested a refund within the guarantee period.

 

5. Guarantee and Contract Withdrawal

Jana Bártíková guarantees her products with a satisfaction guarantee and a money back guarantee. When ordering:

a) On-line Course 

For online courses, the Buyer has the right to use the guarantee period. It lasts 14 days and starts running on the day of the start of the course, that is when the first online workshop takes place.

During the guarantee period, the buyer may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. Claims made after the end of the guarantee period are not accepted by the Seller.

Withdrawal from the contract must be done electronically by e-mail: info@linkedacademy.eu, with a statement that the buyer withdraws from the contract, with a copy of the invoice/tax document and the bank account to which the buyer wants to send back the money. Without these terms, the withdrawal will not be accepted.

Acceptance of withdrawal means that the buyer will be sent a credit note with an amount corresponding to the purchase price of the online program or course via email. The amount will be refunded no later than 30 days after delivery of the withdrawal email by bank transfer. After withdrawal from the contract, access to the member section of the paid online program or course will be prevented and the buyer will not be entitled to receive and use the bonuses purchased along with the online program or course.

b)E-book

When purchasing the e-book, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason no later than 14 days after the purchase. In the event that the Buyer does not receive the E-book despite his / her payment, he/she will notify the Seller via e-mail info@linkedacademy.eu. The Seller is obliged to solve the issue immediately.

The Seller is not obliged to accept withdrawal from the Contract after this period. Withdrawal from the contract must be done electronically to e-mail: info@linkedacademy.eu, with a statement that the Buyer withdraws from the contract, with a copy of the invoice/tax document and the bank account details where the buyer wants to refund the amount paid. Without these terms, the withdrawal will not be accepted.

Acceptance of withdrawal means that a credit note corresponding to the purchase price of the E-book will be sent to the Buyer by email. The amount will be refunded no later than 30 days after delivery of the e-mail requesting a withdrawal from the contract to info@linkedacademy.eu. The amount will be refunded by bank transfer.

c) Participating on Life Event (Workshop / Seminar)

After purchasing the seminar or workshop, the buyer has the right to use the guarantee in the following ways:  

ca) In case the Buyer cancels the attendance on a live event more than 30 days before the date of the event, the Buyer shall receive 100% of the amount paid. When cancelling by e-mail 30 - 10 days before the date of the event, the buyer will receive 50% of the participation fee. If cancelling by e-mail less then 10 days before the event takes place, NO fee will be refunded.

The buyer is obliged to notify the cancellation of participation in the live event, and thus the withdrawal from the contract, in writing to the e-mail info@linkedacademy.eu with a copy of the invoice/tax document and a bank account details to which he wants to send back the money.  Without these terms, the withdrawal will not be accepted.

Acceptance of withdrawal means that a credit note corresponding to the purchase price of the seminar or workshop will be sent to the Buyer by email. The amount will be refunded no later than 30 days after delivery of the e-mail requesting a withdrawal from the contract to info@linkedacademy.eu. The amount will be refunded by bank transfer.

Participation in the selected event is substitutable by another person who can substitute the buyer.

cb) After completing a live event (for multi-day events on the first day of the event), if the Buyer personally announces within 60 minutes after the end of the event at the venue, that participation in the event was of no benefit to him/her and therefore he / she wishes to use the guarantee and refund the amount paid:

Withdrawal from the contract will be accepted by the Seller directly at the venue of the event and the Buyer will be notified of the fact that it is his / her duty to announce the withdrawal also in writing to the e-mail info@linkedacademy.eu with a copy of the invoice/tax document and the bank account details to which the refund will be sent. Without these terms, the withdrawal will not be accepted.

The Seller is not obliged to accept the withdrawal from the contract, other than if it is during a seminar or workshop, or within 60 mins after its completion (for multi-day events on the first day of the event).

Acceptance of withdrawal means that a credit note corresponding to the purchase price of the seminar or workshop will be sent to the Buyer by email. The amount will be refunded no later than 30 days after delivery of the e-mail requesting a withdrawal from the contract to info@linkedacademy.eu. The amount will be refunded by bank transfer.

d) Individual Consultations

When purchasing individual consultations, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason for a refund until he/she starts using the service, but no later than 30 days after purchase. In this case, using the service means arranging the first date of consultation.

The Seller is not obliged to accept the withdrawal from the contract, requested after using the service – arranging or going through the individual consultation or after the 31st day from the purchase of the service.

Contract withdrawal must be performed electronically to info@linkedacademy.eu with the announcement that the Buyer is withdrawing from the contract, with a copy of the invoice/tax document and a bank account details where the buyer wants to send the refund. Without these terms, the withdrawal will not be accepted.

Acceptance of withdrawal means that a credit note corresponding to the purchase price of the individual consultation will be sent to the Buyer by email. The amount will be refunded no later than 30 days after delivery of the e-mail requesting a withdrawal from the contract to info@linkedacademy.eu. The amount will be refunded by bank transfer.

 

6. Safety And Responsibility

6.1. Safety

The access to the user account is secured by login and password.  The Buyer is obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding the information necessary to access the user account and acknowledges the Seller is not responsible for any breach of this obligation by the Buyer.

6.2. Responsibility

The website can be updated without prior notice. 

 

7. Data protection

Seller Jana Bártíková ensures to fully respect the confidential nature of the Buyer's personal and corporate data, which is secured against unauthorized access and protected against misuse. The data entered by the Buyer in the application form is necessary for the identification. It is used to perform the contract, including the necessary bookkeeping operations, issuing tax documents, identifying cashless payments, and communicating with the Buyer. Detailed personal data and Buyer purchase data are stored in a database with strict security against abuse and are not provided to third parties. The participants of the educational events hereby agree to the processing of their stated personal data and sending information and invitations from Jana Bártíková or J2B Community, s.r.o., where Jana Bártíková is the owner.

8. Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions come into effect on 13 December 2018. The information is communicated through the website www.linkedacademy.eu, or through other information channels. Jana Bártíková reserves the right to change these terms and conditions; The Terms and Conditions at the time of purchase are binding for the Buyer. Each new version of the Terms and Conditions is available on the website www.linkedacademy.eu and is labelled with the date when they come into effect. All orders are always governed by the current version of the Terms and Conditions.
